Breaking Through Talent Myopia to Get Through a Tough Economy

Sorry, this webinar has ended.

If you’re like many talent acquisition professionals, you’re struggling to steer your TA strategy to respond to today’s tough economic times. But to plan for a better future, it’s critical to look to the past. In order to get through this recession successfully, it’s important to learn TA lessons from past recessions.

Join Jim D’Amico for a candid presentation as he recounts his experience as a talent leader through multiple economic downturns — including mistakes, failures, and successes — to help you guide your TA efforts through this one. Jim will reveal how having the right talent in your organization right now requires a redefinition of talent acquisition itself.

Yes, you might be scrambling to keep the lights on by trying to maintain the status quo currently. After all, if a strategy has been working well, it’s understandable why you might aim to keep it going. But that’s a mistake — because had the strategy really been working well, you’d have been better prepared for the current economic climate.

So what are HR and TA leaders doing wrong right now when it comes to strategy and leadership to bring in talent? What can you do better? (Hint: The solution lies in thinking about recruitment as more than just about recruitment.) Discover practical answers that you can implement at your organization today for a better tomorrow.
