Adam Gordon

Adam Gordon is CEO and co-founder at talent pipeline software start-up Candidate.ID. Previously he was Managing Director at Social Media Search, a Norman Broadbent plc company. Prior to founding Social Media Search, Adam was Marketing Director for a recruitment agency, in recruitment communications with HAVAS and a consultant in the Human Resource Services practice at PwC. He splits his time between London and Glasgow, where he lives with his family and enjoys playing squash.

Noel Brown

Noel Brown joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2011, as the Head of Talent Acquisition, EMEA reducing agency usage from 85% to 5% through the introduction of a direct sourcing model. In 2014, Noel became the Global Director of Talent Acquisition Operations to stand up a global TA Centre of Excellence model supporting HR transformation, and now 20,000 hires annually. This included the IBM Kenexa ATS implementation consolidating 8 ATS’s to a single technology and the research, EVP definition and activation of the first ever Thermo Fisher Scientific Employer Brand.

Noel is currently the Senior Director, International Talent Acquisition with an award winning team responsible for recruiting across all groups and divisions for APAC, LATAM & Canada and EMEA. Passionate about Candidate experience, the team picked up a 2018 CandE award from the Talent Board, which we are very proud of.

Prior to Thermo Fisher, Noel held Talent Acquisition leadership positions at Heineken and Vodafone and spent 10 years in the Asia Pacific region, and is now based in Glasgow, UK. Noel is a Chartered Fellow of CIPD (Chartered FCIPD) and Fellow Certified Practitioner Human Resources (FCPHR).

Outside of HR, Noel enjoys competitive sailing and the outdoors – anything that involves getting wet – which is good because he lives in Scotland!
