Kelly Rasmussen BA, CHRP, is a Human Resources professional that thrives on relationships and building rapport with people. Certified in the Science of Happiness by UC Berkley, Kelly understands the importance of building a positive onboarding experience, leading to a happy and productive workforce, and less employee turnover. Kelly has been fortunate enough to have had opportunities to experience a diverse career in a variety of industries, including working in the fast pace tech industry in the Waterloo region for the past 4 years.

In January 2018, Kelly rejoined Aeryon Labs Inc., a Canadian Privately held designer of commercial sUAV’s (drones) as their Talent Specialist, her focus is branding, recruitment, and providing onboarding to employees globally. During her time with Aeryon Labs, over a one-year period, she onboarded over 120 new employees as well as creating and expanding the onboarding program along the way.

Onboarding is truly a passion for Kelly, building and delivering the new hire experience to be a positive, engaging and productive experience. Using her own experiences and feedback directly from new employees, Kelly strives to make sure every new employee feels welcomed and expected, and part of the team on their first day.
