About the Author

Ben Gotkin draws from over 22 years of recruiting experience as a consultant and trainer with Recruiting Toolbox, and in tactical and strategic leadership roles at organizations including Marriott International, RSM, The MITRE Corporation, Intelsat, and BAE Systems. As a consultant and trainer with Recruiting Toolbox, he works with clients to build and deploy high ROI recruitment strategies and processes, train recruiters and hiring managers on effective sourcing, leadership, and interviewing and selection techniques, and bring a real-world, practitioner focus to make it all work well together: people + process + technology. 

He is the interim executive director of the Association of Talent Acquisition Professionals and the founder and past-president of recruitDC. He has also served on The Candidate Experience Awards Council, was a board member of WTPF (a Washington, DC-based HR organization), and was an expert advisor with the Human Capital Institute.
