When an employee becomes aware that an employer or supplier may have committed fraud, it can be scary. Potential whistleblowers often believe their options are limited and are fearful of both reporting, and not reporting, the fraud.
Many individuals who find themselves in this situation are unware that they can pursue a whistleblower case. With the right lawyer, a case is of no out of pocket cost to the whistleblower and isn’t a significant drain on time. Additionally, a whistleblower (or qui tam) action can provide financial and reputational rewards and protections to individuals for providing information that a company, hospital or individual has defrauded the government.
